To promote and encourage quality education, enhance livelihoods, and provide appropriate responses to emergencies in Wajir County, while working towards sustainable development and improving the quality of life for the pastoral communities.

Our Impact

  1. Education: Core mission of HELP, supporting communities, local partners, and government ministries in line with education policies.
  2. Food Security and Livelihoods: Implementing diverse projects, such as cash-for-work programs to prevent asset loss.
  3. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH): Promoting access to clean water and sanitation facilities, educating communities on hygiene practices.
  4. Climate Change Awareness: Initiatives like tree planting to combat climate change and raise environmental awareness.
  5. Water Trucking during Severe Droughts: Providing emergency water supplies in drought-affected areas.
  6. Gender-Based Violence (GBV): Addressing and preventing GBV, supporting programs for survivors.
  7. Agricultural Support to Small-Scale Farmers: Training and resources to enhance farming techniques and market access.
  8. Tree Planting: A total of 150 trees planted at Kalkalcha Primary School, Senior Chief Adano Girls Secondary School, and Barwaqo Girls Secondary School.
  9. A total of 600 girls mentored to enhance their personal and academic development at Senior Chief Adano secondary school.
